No, not in Genève – of Genèves! All but the one in the upper left are 36mm, and if you have the impression that I have a soft spot for this classic, early model, you'd be correct.

Nice group. The Geneve is my favourite dress watches in the brand with the classic old school charm. And I love manual calibres. Dibs on any of those jumbo stainless version if you are moving them.

I am amazed that you have amassed so many with white gold dial furniture. That's a feat in itself, but, then to add the 36mm case size to the mix is pretty astounding. There is something so beautiful and elegant about these dials. The combination of the case shape, lug double facetted curvature against the classical Gèneve script, mixed with the crosshaired two toned dial....::love::

Thanks to all for your kind comments.

Dablitzer – It hasn't been easy! This has long been my favorite model, and I have gradually acquired the Jumbos over the course of many years. I agree completely with your assessment of the model, and in my view there is no watch that better expresses the classic, understated '50s design ethos.

Can I then say dibs for when you get it, Dennis? Something like a pre-dibs? :whistling:

You might find it useful to offer a non-refundable "Dibs Deposit"! :p

The horological equivalent to the NFL's Personal Seat License, eh? :p

Gold on the back of the lugs but a stainless caseback? ::confused2:: If somebody can confirm that there were plated case Geneves around 1960 with stainless backs it could be decent, but something strikes me as strange with that combination.

The seller has belatedly added a caseback pic which identifies it (the caseback anyway:cautious:) as a 14702 with a steel case but I have seen some solid casebacks marked 14702. Not sure what this means really.
