Hello everyone ! I ask for help in evaluating the watch, they offer me for $ 4,000 the weight of pure gold (case with strap) = 67 grams. Is your opinion expensive?

More help in English.
Did they take the movement out to Get 67g weight ?

I think you need to see all hallmarks and inside case back.

Not a common watch or combination

I did mine the long way. 28.35 grams in an ounce. 24K gold spot price today is $1,734 USD. 18K is 75% pure.
67 / 28.35 X 1734 X .75 = $3,073.49 USD.
My smelter charges 2% so $3012.02.
I think this is the difference between a dealer and a smelter. The dealer charges $212.84 to walk it over to the smelter.

We are making the assumption 67 grams is everything non gold removed.

IMO you are wrong in your maths - an ounce is exactly 31,1034768 grams and not 28.35

There seems to be a disconnect in the force, I shall go and find out what the discrepancy is.

It depends.

Are you weighing buckwheat flour?

Or precious metals?

Flour mostly, never weighed any gold.

So you're telling me different ounces for different materials?

While an imperial ounce (oz) is equal to 28.35 grams, a troy ounce (troy oz) is equal to over 31.103 grams. Hence, a 1 oz gold bar should therefore contain more than 31.103 grams of gold

(Hence the trojan horse from @JimInOz )

Which is why, when people weigh their inherited/stolen/found gold on the kitchen scales, check the buy price on the local dealers, and then choke when they get a price and think they're getting reamed.
