Hi
I am looking to do some restoration on an inherited Omega Geneve 1970 Case 135070 Cal 601.
I have finally managed to remove the somewhat seized case from the watch , which was down to a somewhat fused gasket. The movement itself looks pretty healthy despite not having been serviced for a very long time.
It is a 20micron gold plated case version.

I am however looking to source the following parts
Replacement Gasket
Replacement Crown ( Existing one is heavily worn down )
Replacement Glass (although might be able to get away with polishing the existing crystal)

I believe the following one the relevant part numbers unless somebody has information to the contrary

Gasket : 088NS0010
Crown : NA 42102
Glass PX 5004

If anybody can help confirm the above and more importantly knows of somewhere that I can source them from would be great. I know they are scarce since they are long since out of production but i am keeping my eyes peeled on the internet.

Thanks in advance for any help on the matter.

So I have finally managed to source some replacement parts (crystal, gasket, crown) for my project.
So I have the case back removed and I am trying to work out how to get remove the 601 movement from the case.
I am not having too much luck finding information on that so if anybody has useful links that would be great.

Have you removed the stem? If you don't know how, search on the forum for how to do it.

OK. So removing the crown and stem was what i was trying to find.
I found the following link/image.

if you look at http://watchguy.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/IMG_6287.jpg, you can see a little round thing next to the serial number, at the end of it. If you press that down gently, this is the set lever, and you can pull out the crown whilst pressing it down.
To put the winding stem back in, also gently press down the set lever, and you can slide it into position.

Will give it a go and then look for the case clamps.
Thanks guys.

Success !
Is the Crown wheel attachement to the Stem just a friction fit or are they glued in ?

Neither. Generally the stem is screwed into the crown which is tapped.
