Omega Genève - Original Red Dial?

Hey all, I’d like to ask if this dial is original or not - I think omega did some lesser known Genève dials in red. 1012 movement looks good. Thanks for the help.

I saw someone posted a reply then later deleted it. I know the text can vary slightly between Genève models. This is specifically asking about the 166.0168 model, which does have a slightly more bold font than some other earlier Genevè refs. The dial is pristine which made me doubt the originality, but it does in fact appear to be original.

It does look original but it looks more brown to me than red. Quality took a nose dive on the 1970s models so be sure to look closely. While you are inspecting the movement, note the lack of any decoration and the sticker with serial number, they sometimes fall off. The 10xx movements work ok but they just look cheap. Cheap as chips.

btw I initially didn't like the big M in the logo, but I note the other watch in the now deleted post had exactly the same so now I'm thinking that how these came. There was a fashion for redialling these in mad bright colours in South Korea but I'm thinking this is legit. If this is being offered in Seoul though, be worried!
