How about a Mad Dog-Hooters edition Speedy Gonzalez in a Dunkin’ Donuts presentation box?

You do realise a Forum watch would be a Constellation.

We wouldn’t do one, I wouldn’t buy it and that says it all really.

If somehow they offered us the opportunity to have input in a watch we know what we would ask for but it has nothing to do with OF and wouldn’t mention it anywhere.
I think there is a good point here... why a Speedmaster for this forum? There are so many other choices, in many ways a piepan makes for sense...

Not the Globemaster, but something that really nails it... Grey Soliel dial, either no date, or day/date at 3. Maybe a C case, but a new case style I would guess is not part of the plan.

The question is one hump or two? 🙄

A dromedary has one hump. A Bactrian camel has two humps.

I have actually been working on and off on a watch concept (let’s call it that) for a couple of minutes.

The watch world is full of Kickstarter start-ups most of which are nothing special and just consist og “catalogue parts” put together. This however will be different.

This is the latest iteration. I haven’t decided on a movement yet but have decided the number of jewels. The water resistance is also pretty much settled on as this will be a true diver.

I am particularly proud of the dual crown system, which I think is a first ever: one for winding the watch (right) and one for unwinding it (left).

Strap is just generic at this point.

What do you think?

I was just going to post, we've had TWO forum Speedies, how about a forum Connie?
Gold, 36 mm, strap.

OK so after some thought....

These are the design inspirations...

So the problem is now the size.. I would say into the 36-38mm range...

Turns out Omega already pretty much has this watch...

So bear with me on this...

This is a 38mm watch. Now if we pull the eagle claw bezel from it, and replace it with a coin edge bezel it should shrink the watch down to 36mm or so and give it almost a c-case visually while retaining a modern look.

then go with a pie pan dial and semi-integrated leather strap or perhaps a drill through case(there should be room) It's not a huge re-manufacturing or tooling to do this for say 1k watches. I am sure that the 143 men's constellation options do not see more than 1,000 of some of the variations...

personally, I would like to see one of these 2 straps....

Isn't it obvious? (Wait for it...)

Yes! That's awesome, great effort! Could actually be a good way to finally identify what that logo is - just stamp it on a few thousand OF watches and send them out into the world

This was out of the box thinking in my case. As soon as i saw it, it made sense.

In the spirit of brainstorming, what about adding twisted lugs ala 105.012?

EDIT: maybe too much of a "committee" watch with the lugs... love the connie id though.
