I don't think the 1125 was equipped from stock for Speedmasters, but more commonly on Seamasters. It however looks and measures exactly like the 1171 in the vintage version, and probably the same for the modern version as well.

Is it really like that? If so, the bracelets would be interchangeable. You could use a 1171 with 617 endlinks for a FOIS, or a 1125 with 633 for a Speedmaster Professional.

BTW: FOIS looks great with the 1125!

I do use the 1125 on my Speedy Pro.

Nice write up! The bracelet adds to the look of a vintage piece. Definitely will consider doing, thanks

I have had the 1125 with 617 end links on my FOIS now for a month this summer and love it. Very different feel and look from the brown leather strap that comes with the Speedmaster watch. I really like bracelet and strap for variety and to match the occasion and season.

Got a quote today from my OB for this bracelet, as well as for the 020STZ006704.

I remember when i went to the OB to pick up my watch, i asked them to put it on bracelet because i wanted one.
I think at that time they used the 1125, but it was some light, felt so cheap that finally i didn't go for it.

1565/976 (or its new version 020STZ006704) looks heavier, feels more like quality, etc ...
Of course it's more expensive but ...

This being said the OB rep said that :
- he can't confirm the correct fit/compatibility of 020STZ006704 on the CK2998
- 020ST1125560 is not the SKU that would perfectly fit on CK2998
- 020ST1125617 is the best available fit for CK2998

So, my preference goes to 020STZ006704.

Not 100% sure i'll go for it (not sure also i'd go for 020ST1125617) but i'm really thinking about it.

Yes i've been through your thread a couple of days ago...

Just got the confirmation from OB that 020STZ006704 doesn't have micro adjsutment clasp ...
That is a cons at that pricepoint.

I double checked your thread again right now ad at first i was mainly focused on the pics and the visaul look and feel.
By reading again, i noticed the gap thing with 1565 / 976. I didn't see that before from other users. They seemed to all be happy with it.

I'm teared apart between guenuine Omega 020STZ006704 or 020ST1125617, and an UncleSeiko 1171 on the other side...
My heart would like to go for the newest Omega, but my wallet has one feet on the braking pedal ...

I decided to g ofor the Uncle Seiko.
Because it looks similar to 020ST1125617 fo 20-25% the price
Because i may have go for 020STZ006704 if it had the micro adjustment clasp, but if doesn't, and at EUR 600+, i couldn't accept that ...

Always wanted to add a bracelet to my FOIS. It really completes the watch.

I’ve done multiple things with my FOIS. First was the speedy racing bracelet. Then I did a speedy racing rubber strap with deployant. Currently I have the US1171 bracelet on.
