Hello watch fam, i would like some help, recently I bought this parts from an omega flightmaster and after a lot of research I couldn’t find anything to clarify if this an prototype or just some case modifications, I don’t have neither the movement, inner insert and dial but to be sure that I’ll buy I need to clarify if it worth to spend more money in it , can you please help me if someone has some information about it!

    In advance I’ll tank you

I look forward to reading true experts comments, but the case alone is beyond over-polished. All the satin finish is gone.
As far as these red dots go, I would call “customization” by a previous owner…
Can you post a picture of the other side of the case back? The inside shows that it is not a service one, but wondering what is left of the engraving on the back.

How many sanding wheels died to get that shape...

I think they started out with chisels in order to save on the sanding paper.

@Dsif76 - even if some aspects of the watch were different from what we are used to seeing on flightmasters, there is no way of telling due to the massive modification that has been done.

Feel free to post here :D

Fair play, that's serious dedication :D

Would actually be interesting to see it with a dial.

A rare mirror-finish on that case, a perfect match to your ride :)

Well, I think we can rule out prototype on this one. Just someone going all in on the sanding wheel.

I’ve asked the person who I bought the watch and he said me that he bought it like that 40 years ago, “ so probably it’s just probably a customized case from previous owner “

I would go with this assumption.

Seems so that someone didnt like the hooded halmet style case and "customized" it to a 4 lug case.
