Omega Flatlink Mystery - Holzer 1175 and 1039 hybrid

A year ago I bought a vintage Seamaster 166.028 from a seller in Mexico, the watch looked rough but it seemed to have a 1175, so I jumped on the opportunity to get one a little below market. I had been on the hunt for one with 48 endlinks to put on my 168.022. Well, the pictures were absolutely awful, so I shouldn't have been too surprised to find out it wasn't a 1175.

Rather, it seems to be a Holzer-made flatlink that measures 22mm across the widest link. The endlinks seem to be unstamped 47 endlinks (?) that have been filed down to fit a 19mm lug width 🙁. However, the whole bracelet is a mystery. It doesn't seem like a franken and I came across another similar one posted here.

I'm curious if anybody has any thoughts about what I have and what it would/should have been put on. Did Omega themselves ever make a 22mm flatlink bracelet? Could this have also been a speedmaster bracelet?

Thank you for any and all thoughts!

Mexico has the weirdest bracelets, I have my eye on one of them as well, there’s a Mexican version of 1040, so funky

They definitely do. However, I do love the conventional holzer that came on some speedys and I just bought an Uncle Seiko version. Is the Mexican 1040 significantly different?

Very, the middle links look like worn baguette cut diamonds, it looks very much like a cheap generic bracelet but very elusive unless you’re willing to buy it with a watch
