    Hi All,

I want to get an extract for my speedy. Im based in the US. I think I read something saying they don't issue extracts to people in the US? Can someone confirm that for me? also how is the process, has anyone gone through it RECENTLY?

    Best,

    John

Call an Omega Boutique. They can get it for you.

Omega can't sell anything online in the USA.

My pet peeves in life are failure to use turn signals while driving and failure to read stickies on forums.

On a totally unrelated note, do you guys remember Sniglets? It was a brief thing on the HBO show Not Necessarily the News, where words that should be in the dictionary were made, often a combination of two existing words. There were two that I made up. The first, "hesculation", is the hesitation you do before stepping on an escalator. The second, "obliviot", was a person who was an oblivious idiot.

We now return you to your usually scheduled programming.

I went to the Omega Boutique in Natick, MA, USA today and they would not order an extract of the archives for me. I was surprised at how unhelpful they were as I've had nothing but positive interactions there in the past.

I ordered one from my boutique over the phone actually, and another online. Both were easy and simple to do, just $$$$

Reminded me of the joke, farmer telling the cop getting chased by the bull, "Show him your badge!"

Is there anything stopping US citizens from just asking a European friend to fill out the online form & pay the amount?

Such a weird thing that in 2016 we still have the world carved up by trademark laws

Even stranger why there isn't a database for this which you can print out your own extract after electronic fee payment!
