Hi all,

what do we think of the 166.079 dynamic?

I have an opportunity to pick one up at a relatively cheap price.
Posting pics.

When you say jumbo, it is bigger than other dynamic 1 models?

The seller told me it’s 42mm either way I’m starting to not want to buy it now. All good though. Admin can delete the post if they see fit.

I'm not usually a fan of the Dynamics or gold, in all honesty, but I gotta say that the varying tones in the dial are making this one look pretty good to me. I could be wrong but the crystal and the crown are looking like replacements to me. I'll defer to more experienced eyes but I could have sworn both the crown and crystal for these should be signed.

Probably. I have my eye on seamaster at the moment so I’m not too fussed if this sells.

Interesting if it is larger than standard dynamic I did not know they made such a thing. I like it but I fear the gold tone would be too flashy but I’m a bit paranoid about that. Even a gold tone seiko presage I had bothered me sold it like two days after I bought it. I do think there are some nice gold/gold tone watches.

Too seventies for me...but to each his own. I love gold so that part wouldn't bother me. The bracelet is what impresses me the most, looks really well built. Any pics of the Seamaster?

No, unfortunately both watches fell through. Oh well……
