Omega Dust Cover Replacement

Hi everyone,
I got a 168.1501 (2501.80) that is missing the dust cover. I found out that it would need a 096FE0028 or 096FE0041 dust cover.

Since they are hard to get by and expensive I was looking at the 096FE0032.

Could this be a fitting replacement? I couldn't find out the exact dimensions but it seems to be pretty close. Is this just a later replacement dust cover?Thanks for the help.

096FE0041 is the one you need.

Ok thank you, could you still enlighten me what the 096FE0032 is for then since I cannot see any linked reference numbers on cousinsuk. It seems to be some replacement for an earlier model and has the same dimensions (or close to the 096FE0041) . Cheers

096FE0032 is discontinued, and replaced by 096FE0028.

096FE0028 is used on 939 different watches, so clearly I'm not going to list them all...

None of this changes the fact that the one you need is 096FE0041.

Strange enough when I search for 168.1501 on cousinsuk it shows 096FE0028 and 096FE0041 both as fitting dust covers. And 096FE0028 also shows 168.1501 as a reference (as you can see in the foto). That is why I was hoping I could get the 096FE0032 (which is actually still available btw on cousinsuk) for £17.38.
Maybe a mistake on the cousinsuk site. Definitely confusing for me. Thanks for carifying 😀

No sizes are given by Omega - the only thing you can do is look up what dust cover goes with what watch - they do not list the 0032 cover for this watch.

Does that mean it absolutely 100% will not fit? The only way to know is to try it, so if you do, let us know if it works.

Ordered.. I will report if it fits. If not I'll get the 0041 with a heavy heart (and 100€+ less).
