Greetings everyone!

On January 29th this year I purchased my 1st Omega. Purchased the De Ville Prestige. I really like the watch and is keeping good time.

However I checked the serial number on a website called Serial Number Decoder.CO.UK for Omega watches. My serial number starts with 82094399. The site stated that this watch was made in 2007!!!!

How could that be? Bought a 13 year old watch as new?? I contacted the AD and they stated they received the watch brand new in June 2019.

This has been driving me nuts! Any ideas or suggestions? BTW I contacted Omega they could not tell me anything.

That site must be old it says that it can identify serials only up to 2008. I doubt your watch is older than that.
