Think about to buy this watch, it looks okay, movement is 860. But have never seen this dial before, is that original or refurbished? Thanks Herb
Thanks for the photos, these are all original watches My posted watch is different, has never seen before this dial on a 145.017, don't know if it's reprinted or from another watch...
The 145.017s were also discussed here if it helps https://omegaforums.net/threads/145-017-deville-chronograph-back-from-sts.33277/
I believe it is a reprint. The longer hashes at 3, 6 and 9 are used when telephoning, something to do with the cost of long-distance calls, IIRC. That practise wasn't used when this watch was produced, so don't fit the reference.
@ Garv: Thanks for the link! @ ConElPueblo: Yes i think the same, the dial looks older. Think it's a re-dial, the Omega and De Ville lettering is not 100% correct, compare to the other watches.
Looks like an awful redial to me. Amongst other things that stand out are the erratic spacing between the numbers and the misalignment of those numbers on the seconds track, which is really off. Also look at all those different 5's, I don't think one is the same as the other
