Rather falling in love with these twin chronograph devilles... just wondered if anyone had any experience of them?

Picture for reference (I think this has the wrong second hand and one wrong sub hand.):

Own one. A favourite elegant casual watch. Cal 860 is the two register version of the 861 so no issues there. You will only find cal 860 in this reference, and at 10000 produced they are relatively scarce.
    5-6 different dial layouts.
    Go grab a good one!

I actually fell in love with the grey dialed variant that OP posted a while back. It proved very difficult to find, and then one day watchco put a NOS dial up on eBay. What followed was a new 145.0017 case from Otto Frei, new hands from eBay and a 860 from a redialed watch. The dial goes from a dark grey in normal light to a beautiful lighter shade in sunlight. I love it when a plan comes together

    I know it's a frankenwatch, but it's my frankenwatch.

    Cheers chaps.

The one above is currently for sale... talking price with the seller, based on it needing some new sub hands, a new centre second, and a service.

The seller says that it's just been serviced, but when a seller says that, without paperwork... well I take that as in need of a going through.

Any ideas what sort of target price I should be going for?

There don't seem to be many of these that come up for sale... and I've seen £1400 (sold) all the way through to $4000 (being asked but unsold).

The examples I have seen in the US seem to go between $1,500 and $3,000 depending on condition and dial style. I can try to find the seller where I bought the hands, I don't recall them being difficult to source. The black subdial hands were from Otto Frei

I love your franken @toddle321 - that grey dial is stunning.

Looking to take ownership of the black/panda above, as long as I can work out a deal with the seller.

Thanks! I didn't know they made this dial in a black panda, make sure to confirm with the seller that it isn't the grey one if you're after black

Argh... much want... seller is asking a little more than I want to pay... not sure I can stomach it, or if I'm being daft... they don't seem to come up all that often.

You'll be sorry if you don't. How much past your price are they asking? A few hundred? ............

    That's lovely.

Is this some as yet ignored seam of previously unpopular but thoroughly gorgeous Omegas?
