Hi,
I'm fairly new to this. I'm curious as to why the omega crystal has a recess on the outside of the crystal. It's a tension ring and I believe it's original. I drew a rough idea of the crystal in the last picture.

It may be to allow the crystal tool to grip the crystal for removal.
The watch must be opened from the front with Tool 107.
