COSMIC conundrum
·Hello all,
After being a bit of a lurker on here and seeing your sage wisdom for a while, i took the dive and got a Seamaster Cosmic 166026 - tool 107 in stainless steel. Obviously, this started an itch, which resulted in me buying a good condition 1068 bracelet which i understand would be factory authentic from the bracelet reference document that has been circulating for a while.
My question pertains to the end lugs to put the various pieces together, and i understand that the 523 is the ideal, and the one that was the original. Now i understand that some people have succeeded in utilising the 529, although this is also difficult to find. I have also seen the idea that the 528, along with other beads of rice end lugs, may also work, but i have never seen any photographic evidence, and most threads mentioning it seem hypothetical.
I understand that similar questions have been raised before, but i can't seem to find a specific answer.
I greatly appreciate any input and thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
Cosmic Conundrum.
