I bought a 1068 (no. 12) bracelet with 570 endlinks mainly for use with this Seamaster, but have found the endlinks - while fitting - to be slightly too long for the lugs. I know these bracelets came in several variations. Are there any endlinks that might be a better fit? The inside of the lugs is about 5.5mm long, if that's any help. Thanks in advance!

There are other ends links for this bracelet, but I can't tell you if they will fit your watch better...

527 and 555 ends links are listed as going with the 1068 bracelet.

With your watch, 70 end-links are best fit.

Thanks. I'll try to find a set of 70/570 endlinks, then.

Found these on eBay, described simply as a "pair of 18mm curved lug ends for Omega stainless steel gents watch strap, curved lug ends. 1980's". The machining seems to be a bit rough and there are no stamped numbers. What do you think, aftermarket or genuine Omega?

By the way, i fished some watches last week. Along with others came a fake Rolex with stamped endlinks, at least they tried.

OK, thanks. In that case I think I'll pass and wait for another opportunity. Thankfully, they seem to come up quite regularly.
