Hi everyone, could this dial is original but is added the extra crosshair? And the second hand looks quite long (replaced?)

Also, the hour markers at 5 and 6 aren’t straight - they don’t meet the minute markers in the middle.

Is it possible that the case was so heavily polished that the underlying metal becomes visible between 4 and 5?

I asses the watch as genuine, with a replaced second hand. The case is in used condition, propably polished, but still well preserved. The slightly misaligned indexes and minute markers can be seen quite often on Constellations.

The pics aren’t really good enough to be sure but I’d hazard a guess that this is original too. (Not the seconds hand)

The printing quality isn’t first class and I would put that down to the dial manufacturer.

I can see why you might think the cross hair is added because it appears to follow the bumps on the dial but this could be natural degradation and/or crystal distortion.
only better pics would tell.

The ‘worn through‘ gold cap looks like reflections to me but the case is very heavily polished and the lugs have lost their facets.

Oh I see those points now. Thanks for that. In my place, they usually switch original dials mutually so perhap it was changed. And yeah, the case could be polished too hard.

You are right. Almost 90% of Constellations Pie Pan in my hometown is being replaced/ refinished/... I get headache to look for a 100% origin. How sad... They keep saying that it is original. Quite disapointed.

That "often" happens regularly in my place. How sad. It is super difficult to search for a origin one in the middle of unbelievable industry. They always tell me that it is original...

I agree with @Peemacgee that better picutres are needed and there might be 'issues' that could be caused by crystal issues.

One additional thing regarding the cross hair:

on 6 and 12 it goes past the minute markers

on 9 it doesn't seem to:

I noticed that as well.
Something not quite ringing true with this dial.
