Omega Constellation, What kind is it?

Hello,

Iam currently looking at a Omega but i cant seem to find any info about it what so over..

Cal 1022 day-date size 37mm x 40mm

Do anyone know What model this is and what its worth?

Yes, it's an Omega constellation, just as you said in the title. The reference number is printed inside the case back.

The problem is that i dont have the watch yet.
I cant find any info about the watch from googling my brains out.

Seller asking 950usd for it.

Far too much. These are not particularly uncommon or valuable watches.

That is not a $950 Constellation, half that on a good day, maybe.

I'm pretty sure there is a Cal.1020 in it and it's from the late 70s early 80s.
Not worth much and not very collectible

You may want to wait until you have more knowledge of models and values before considering a purchase.

Yep. Must be the one from Shabbaz. It was the early 70’s that these watches suddenly had constellation at the top. Normally (before and after) most often at the lower part of the dial.

More tellingly, it was in the 70s Omega introduced non-chronometer-rated movements to the Constellation line, seriously (IMHO) sullying the pedigree.
