Omega Constellation - searching for reference + case <Solved> Ref 168.005 / 14902 with missing bezel

Dear forum,
I am new here, I am searching for the exact reference of this watch (see picutre) that my wife inherited from her grandfather. I came somewhat close by looking at the reference 168.004 but there are some slight differences on the dial, the indexes for the minutes are on the outside, etc. .. so I imagine it is probably close to that date and/or model? Also I could not find so many Constellation models with two little bars at the 6 index. Hopefully that makes sense and some brilliant expert here can tell me 馃榾
Second of all, I am trying to find the upper part of the case that is missing on the watch. Where could I find it and what would be the approximate cost?
Thanks for your help!

welcome @bertiber

you have a dome-dialled gold capped 168.005 - commonly known as a 'dogleg lug' case.

Finding a loose bezel will be almost impossible.
They were made of solid 14k gold and the likely only option is to have one made.

hope that helps

Indeed being gold makes it a bit easier as its a pretty forgiving metal to work with, getting one made shouldn鈥檛 be all that hard as I鈥檝e even had solid gold pushers re-manufactured in the past.
