Good Evening!

As you can see Im looking for a good and well conserved Omega vintage. What do you think about this Constellation?

Thank you for your suggestion and Advices!

The misaligned indexes with the hour marks would make me judge it as a redial. Also, the Constellation star seems too close to the text.
Black dials on this reference are very rare and more often than not they were repainted when the black dials became more valuable.

But pictures are very blurry and with a bad angle so I cannot be 100% sure.. I think it is better to wait for more opinions.

How many 14393s have you seen with straight n in Constellation?

It’s a redial. Won’t be easy to find an original black dial in solid gold.

All photos are very blurry- sometimes deliberately by seller- always a warning sign.

The price also tells you a lot. If it sounds too good to be true… you know the rest. That’s the difficult thing about finding a good piece: Had this been an original black dial in good condition, it would’ve lasted minutes, maybe hours till it was gone. So for a bargain you’ll have to be patient and quick; to be quick you’ll have to know what you’re doing. This isn’t meant as an offense, don’t get me wrong. But you might have to pay up until you’re comfortable evaluating a dial on your own. And even then you’ll need time and luck to find a good one for an even better price.

Apart from the redial as others have said - a 23,8xx serial movement in a 14393?

Good point. I gotta admit, I stopped looking further after the first glance at the dial, but that’s another downside.
