    I have my eye on this watch but i cant find any info about it. The seller dont want to open the case to look for reference nr. Does anyone here know what model this watch is? All i know is that its 18k solid gold

    Is it just me or does that look like another metal showing through the scrape, on the back of the lug?

    I dont understad what Desmonds means with the movement. The seller is a pawnshop that dont deal with watches..

    Hmm, interesting. Never seen this before.

    Knurled bezel and a dial similar to what's usually found on C-case constellations except the omega/constellation flip!

    To put it simply, what Desmond is saying is that usually these 1001 movements are often kaput when it reaches its current age and it's probably in your best interest to see if it keeps good time/still works as intended.
