Omega Constellation Pie-Pan

Hi guys, I would like to ask your opinion on what appears to be a solid gold or gold plated pie pan connie. I thought everything looked okay, until I saw that it was being sold for about 285 USD. Am I dreaming? Or is this one of those too good to be true deals?

Pics are from the seller’s post. I have messaged the seller and he has yet to reply. I have a feeling this will sell fast, will most likely get picked up by someone not too finicky about condition. Hence, my quick recourse to you guys.

Crystal looks like a replacement. But the caseback appears sharp? Crown seems worn, and difficult to judge the chamfers of the lugs from the shots provided. Case itself seems polished, but I’m not 100% on that.

At that price? Buy it as soon as you can.
I would! But the price itself makes me hesitate. From these pics alone, does the watch raise any red flags?

Too good to be true but good luck anyway.
This feels like one of those moments where I’m hoping somebody would tell me that there’s something wrong with it. And then it gets picked off by somebody before anyone has a chance to say anything. And then someone says its legit and i kick myself for a week for not jumping on it sooner.

Either a hacked account or some other scam. Even if it weren't an Omega Connie it is worth more than that for a solid 18K no name watch, must be outright robbery or bait and switch. If it arrives, at that price you have stolen it!

The crown is wrong, - a minor detail at that price!
I would say the crown is correct but not original

Do you happen to know which reference is this? No pic of the inner caseback and the seller isn’t responding.

It appears to be a local guy with some experience in buying/selling/trading watches. The watch is being sold on Facebook. I know. But still?

To me it looks like a 168.006 de Luxe with 18k solid gold dial.

Mine for comparison.

Thank you. That is a gorgeous piece. It does look like a similar reference. And, from the center shot of both watches, the case and lugs look good. Still no response from the seller though.

At that price a steal. I can't imagine a seller that sells a lot of watches to be that stupid to put such a low price. Probably a mistake or a scam. But hope for the best.👍

I think there has been a big mis-understanding here. Surely the seller thinks he is asking $2,850. To sell it at $285 you would have to be bat-shit mental. If it looks too good to be true...

Meet at a bank. Don't bring cash oror anything of value. If you need to bring cash, bring $285 and $20 in your shoe in case you do get robbed and need a taxi home. 👍

Protect yourself.
