Omega Constellation pie-pan 14900 - opinions sought

I recently acquired what I believe to be a ref 14900 for about £700. It's a little beaten up, but appears to be unpolished and otherwise in decent order. I think it has a replacement crown, although I believe from the Omega blog that sometimes the serrated non-hexagonal crowns were used on this model. can't find an Omega symbol on the crystal either, even under a loupe, so perhaps it's had a replacement crystal at some point. Grateful for views from the experts on here as to condition, crown, crystal and anything else!

Thanks.

It's a bit beaten up but I've seen a lot worse for £700 and it being a piepan I don't think you've done too badly.

Crown is incorrect as you note.

Dial looks nice, get some Polywatch and give the plexi a polish

The crown is larger than it should be but the main problem is the missing bezel

Crown looks like a Speedmaster / Seamaster 300 24 tooth flat foot crown

The missing bezel will be a tough problem to solve. Finding a donor case or a watchmaker who can manufacture one will probably end up being your best bets. Good luck on your journey!
