Hi everyone,
Im totally newbie on Omega Constellation Vinatge watches. I’ve been offered an Omega Constellation Pie Pan in solid 18k gold, condition never polished (as the seller said) as shown in the photos I’ll attach.
Seller’s asking price: USD 6,500 (comes with an auction verification paper from Kaplans Auktioner, a Swedish auction house).

If you’re buying to stow away in the hopes of making a profit. The current buy price is also based on current gold values. Should the bubble burst (surprised it hasn’t yet). I would think the price of the watch would also drop due to that.

Wearing? Scratch, ding and down goes the value.

Of course this is your decision to make.

It is a very nice looking watch

Wow, beautiful. You won't find many others in a lifetime. If I was in this market, I'd pay the asking. I'm sure there is some wiggle room though.

The case, especially for 18k gold, is in especially nice condition. Doesn't look like it's ever been worn. If you don't pull the trigger, I'm betting someone will..

Exactly, absolutely extraordinary condition. Thus, the market allows such a high price. It will sell for that sooner or later.

As others said, for me too, it would be too pristine to actually wear 😅

Such a beautiful piece. He is allowed to ask this price I guess, it's only up to you if to pay it or not. But I am pretty sure you are only moving money around, you will not lose value on this. Unless you wear it every day of course.

Also, I did not see any movement picture but with the dial picture I assume the watch was serviced recently? I think if you put down such a big amount you want to make sure all the movement parts are period correct.

Price is high, probably very high, but if I'd be in the market for one of those and I had the funds, I would buy it: you won't find another so good, I guess.
