Omega constellation opinion needed ,

Hello kazd here, finishing the evening with doing what I like very much a watch inspecting , I have this omega constellation ref# 14902 /62 SC

pie pan it is chronometer it it doesn’t say officially certified I’m including pics so please anyone what you guys think about this , thanks the movement is 561 adjusted 5 positions and temperature, thank you , kazd

Everything looks original here except the crown. The dial has damage to the original lacquer. It is from 1962 as the caseback says.

Thank you yes I noticed the dial coating issue and yes the crown is not correct but I have correct one to replace it, thank you for your input appreciated, lazd

Following - I’d love to know why some 60s/70s pieces say officially certified and some do not

This was a style ‘experiment’ that Omega tried out for a couple of years during the years of around ‘59-‘62. (As ever with Omega, give or take a little either side)
So you will find this kind of dial on the watches produced during that time period, e.g. 14381/14393, 14900/14902, very early 168.004s.
IIRC there are some 2852s also.
After that they reverted to the full ‘officially certified’ text.
