Omega Constellation fair price?

Hi everyone,

I am considering to buy this Constellation Bumper movement watch.

What would be a fair price? And is there anything I should be aware of based on the pictures?

It is a private seller and service history is unknown and no pictures of the movement.

I am able to meet with the seller here in Denmark.

Sorry but personally, I don’t like the back cover. You can’t see all the 8 stars and this should reduce the price.

Maybe the experts here can say if the crown is right for bumper models. Or should it be a 4sided crown.

Hard to tell you a fair price from such bad pics. The dial might be nice, though the Omega symbol looks off center, or...?

Have looked at Chrono24 and other websites but only very few listed with the same dial. They are priced between 2000 EUR and 2500 EUR. In both cases the dial had some patina but fully serviced.

But in general the watch ref 2652 is selling between 1000 EUR and up - all depends on the condition.

A 2652 would have a screw-in caseback, which this one doesn't.

Use the advanced ebay search for sold articles. C24 prices don't help you much, it's what people are asking for them, but you don't know if they actually sell for that money (or at all).

Yes C24 is inflated and @MtV stated ebay sold prices is useful. Perhaps others will chime in. Good luck!

Late to the party, but I believe this particular one has been up for sale a number of times. If I remember correctly, there is some damage on the top part of the dial.
