FS - A stunning 1950's tu-tone Omega Constellation Guilloche dial with beautiful Salmon Patina..

This is on at the request of a few members who found my eBay listing..It had preciously been advertised on here with no firm offers. But I figured if give members another chance if they fancied it.

Had original omega crystal fitted and case clean but not polished recently. Still have the original receipt.

Movement is running smoothly but I can't guarantee time keeping and do not know its service history.

Generic crown, not Omega.

Dial is in good condition, with beautiful 18k omega arrowhead markers. Caseback is very crisp and has medallion and text clear and crisp.

I am asking SOLD factoring in the new clean/crystal at a cost of £90. The only reason I am selling is due to needing funds to justify my next purchase.

Shipping is negotiable depending on location. I can ship internationally at cost.

Very Nice! I don't understand your asking price "factoring in $90GBP". Does that mean all included? If the dial is "original" and you include the correct crown, I would have sincere interest. Thanx for your "time"' Miki

Hi Miki, yes I mean in total, sorry if that's not clear. I just wanted to mention what has been done recently and mention it's cost. Factoring, in this case means "taking into consideration" The dial is original. it is sold as it is though I'm afraid. Thanks for your interest. PM me if you need more info.

With all due respect: Everything's obtainable, that is to someone and/or with enough "paper". Please understand that for most of my 50 year love affair, I only collected, bought, sold and traded; never a student until the last couple of years. I still have a lot to learn. Hopefully gentlemen, such as you, will help me.All of that being said: Will I also need a stem? If so, where: Otto Frei? Then not a problem as I could have them installed when I take it for routine service. However I need to know what this party will cost when the last guest leaves. Keep in mind that I'm the guy that wrote the book: "On the way to going broke". Those were the days my friends, I thought they would never end: They did!

Sorry Miki, I did not mean to sound cavalier. I meant that these crowns are purchasable for a reasonable cost $29.50 from JulesBorel or $36 from Otto Frei. Stem is about $4.00 from JB. You may know that both of these outlets are easy to deal with through phone communication. One thing I like about JB is that they will put items in the mail for $2.50 and it makes for quick delivery, especially if you are in the US Midwest. Both do returns for wrong items without hassle.

Thanks for your help on this. I will check with STS for a quote for new crown and fitment. They have the added benefit of being watertight and safer for everyday uses..

Thank you - both! I was unaware of JulesBorel. If nothing else, his shipping is way better. Only Cavaliers play basketball ;-)
Alex: I responded to your PM. Maybe it will be "time" for us? Regards to all, Miki

Keep in mind what I was told about watch hobby several decades ago: "Buy the seller not the watch" ;-)
