·Omega Constellation 2652 - 18K Solid Gold - Bumper Cal. 354
Up for sale is an honest, first-generation Omega Constellation Ref. 2652 in 18K solid yellow gold, dating to circa 1953. Originally aquired from a trusted Omega Forums seller X350 XJR. Selling this watch on behalf of my brother who bought it here.
This example features the early "bumper" automatic movement and a desirable cross-hair pie-pan dial.
• Reference: 2652 / 2652 SC
• Case Material: 18K Solid Yellow Gold (Screw-back)
• Dimensions: 35mm (excluding crown) | 43.4mm lug-to-lug
• Lug Width: 18mm
• Movement: Omega Caliber 354 Bumper Automatic
• Serial: 13.xx.xxx (Dating to ~1953)
• Dial: Original two-tone cross-hair "pie-pan" with 18K gold markers and Arabic numerals.
Condition Report:
• Case: Solid 18K gold case shows natural wear consistent with a 70-year-old watch.
• Dial: Original and seemingly untouched with even patina across the surface. All furniture (Omega logo, star, markers) is 18K gold.
• Movement: The Cal. 354 winds and sets as it should. It is currently keeping reasonable time; however, service history is unknown and a routine service is recommended for daily wear.
• Crystal/Crown: Correct for the period; showing minor signs of use.
