Think your missing the point being made, its in good condition to you and most, but not what most would call Mint condition in the collectors scale...

Nice watch 👍

ST certainly does not apply to the OP's watch. 😉
Thanks Al, the ST was a cut and paste error

I guess the beveled edge is a little on the round side, but it still there 😀
Much better pictures indeed! Not mint, but close. Now compared to the original pictures, that's a different watch, from colour to condition!

Good to hear, I did't think I did that bad.. some of you were starting to scare me a little. I do want to wear my watches, when they start sitting, I feel they deserve a wrist 😀

It looks just great for a used watch. Don't be influenced and enjoy. Just for your information, there are great chances that the dial is 18k too. But you will have to have it taken off to check for the stamp is underneath the dial. So if you have it serviced ask the watchmaker to check before putting it back. If it is the case, you bought 36 gr of 18k gold (32 + 4).
Congratulations

Thanks kindly for the reply😀 The watch was fully looked over by a watchmaker, and indeed it is a Solid Gold Dial. Thanks for the info on weight wasn't sure how much the movement weighed😀

I was going to ask you, the added 0 in the model numbers you posted. Why do you add a 0? The caseback states those numbers minus one 0?

Just curious, thanks for your response in advance 😀

If you look it up in the Omega data base, you often need to use the extra zero. There is a reason, but let's see if someone else gives it. 😀

I do not think the dial is gold.

This watch came from a jeweler where the watch was looked over and tested before I puchased for the Gold. It also had the 18k solid gold mesh looking bracket as well, but no original clasp. I did not want to pay what the wanted for the braclet because it was almost 2 ounces of gold. The Dial is Gold, they also have the same watch at Alex Watch C in Portland, a very reputable dealer, watch is offered as complete Solid Gold ( including Dial) priced at $3,200.

I'd be curious about that because typically the dials that are solid gold in the C-Case carry the markings "OM SWISS MADE OM" at the bottom of the dial like this though I know there are some exceptions

That is very interesting, now I want to pull it apart and find out for sure. I just would find it hard to believe two watchmaker/jewelers telling me it is gold and it not being real. Although, you never know. I will wait till it gets serviced and find out for sure 😀 Either way I love it, and I love the C Case, more than my pie pan find. I like how it has more weight and its slightly bigger.

Sorry, was not trying to be rude and or not take your answer, just would have loved a reason supporting that thought, as Dsio displayed.
