Just wanting some feedback on this piece that i am looking at. For context I have an early 2000's Speedmaster Pro and a 2022 Seamaster Divers 300 and wanted to add a vintage piece for dressier occasion and perhaps daily office wear.

This watch I am looking at previously came from Omega Enthusiast store so I am fairly confidence of its authenticity but just want to get some feedback from people to validate.

This is the watch here:
1968 Omega Constellation Vintage Gent's Watch (omegaenthusiast.com)

Thoughts on this to add it to my rotation. I am fairly indifferent to any of the vintage Seamasters or Constellations I have seen and this one is fairly clean looking. Figured I should add a Connie to be slightly different to my others. Not sure if I should go for a more iconic piece (like a pan dial) but this is going to be a one and done so that's the only thing holding me back.

The case looks to be in very good condition, as does the dial.
Some deterioration of the hands.
A little irritating that it looks like they have used a generic crystal instead of an Omega Crystal.

A good example if you like this Constellation reference.

You don’t mention price and Omega Enthusiast has been noted before for being rather expensive.

If you like the clean looks of the 168.018 you could look at the 168.004 and 168.010 dome dial constellations as options.

Thanks for the response. How can you tell from photos its not an Omega Crystal. He mentions it in the ad but can't tell if its generic

Price is around 1,000 USD (including shipping). I believe it doesn't require a service yet.

Thanks for the other references. Will have a look as well as I am not set on any particular piece

There would be a small omega symbol in the centre of the crystal and I think they would mention an Omega crystal as a selling point.

These flat dial references aren’t yet as popular as their earlier dome dial cousins and so generally don’t command the same prices.
However, $1000 for a serviced watch in this condition from a commercial seller doesn’t seem out of the way to me.
