Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone could help me to understand which original crown I should purchase for my recently acquired Omega Constellation 168.029 yellow gold capped. Currently a different crown is present which is not usual for this Constellation. Please see some pictures below.

Does anyone knows the Omega part number for the offical crown for this model? The lid of the case indicates a CD 168.029. I can find OK looking offers on ebay but i want to prevent buying a crown that does not fit the casing.

Will this crown fit the 168.029 casing for example?

Also recommendations where to purchase the correct crown are very welcome. I live in the Netherlands.

It’s probably the normal straight knurled crown seen on these early C-cases that it should have, I’d probably opt for the scalloped crown that was on later ones as it just looks more fitting to me and is easier to pull out without fingernails.

Thanks for the input, I agree the crown in your picture looks very ok to me and is a good option for this model.

Any recommendations where to order and how to select a fitting crown for a 168.029?
Can I just measure the crown stem/axis diameter (0.9mm it is) and purchase according?

Help is much appreciated here.

42054's are/were still available on eBay - make sure the photo checks the style and the size (~4.7mm)

Thank you kaplan, knowing the original item number helps a lot in the search and the required dimensions in case an alternative is required. Much appreciated!
