Looking for second opinions if this is all original. I've read desmonds blog that not all will pass MOY and yet still authentic. But just want to make sure especially for the experts here

It's hard to tell since the crystal is so scratched up. Some of the letter looks a little rough, and some of the minute marks seem to vary in length or are not straight. But it could be distortion due to the scratches. Can you take more dial pictures where the dial itself is actually in focus?

Would be nice to see the hands away from the print.

Random example from the net.

Looks not original to me, after zooming in.

All the “T’s” at the top look different.
Letters have different thickness.
Some of them are not straight.

Incredibly difficult to tell with those pictures.
The case is significantly polished, so would only consider it if it was cheap.

That is helpful.

I’ve owned 5 or 6 Constellations over the years (including a linen dial), but none of them had text that looked this “rough”

why would you want to buy this specific example?

I have cut out the text, considering all the E's seem to be a redial.

Pictures aren't of the best quality, it's a textured dial, the crystal is possibly aftermarket and it is definitely scratched and covered in dust/lint. I wouldn't want to say anything with certainty...

One thing in OP’s favor. It is extremely difficult for a redialler to replicate the texture on one of these dials.

Problem is that with all the scratches and gunk on the crystal, I can’t tell how detailed the linen texture is on this dial.

I lean towards original, but only very slightly.

I personally am wary of the some of the Es and Ts, and even more so the uneven lengths of the minute marks and the 11:00 marker not being centered between minute marks.

I will add though that I am not one of the real experts on these, and sometimes I have been corrected in my assessments.

I am going with original.

Linen dials are difficult to redial and we'd see much more glaring issues if this had been the case, IMO.

Me too, but there are issues with the dial. Can’t tell if it’s dust or if the lacquer is flaking off.

You do not want to overpay for this watch.
