Dear members,
I came across an interesting Omega CK2638. Sold in the past by our member @cristos71: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-automatic-ck2638-serviced.158556/
Now it’s on the market again and I may be interested, if I didn’t have questions regarding the originality of the dial. I’ve done my research and do not find many examples without having Swiss made printed on it. This one lacks the print. The main question now is if the dial is original or not. Please weigh in with your thoughts.

That dial looks 100% fine to me. It’s also possible the text is there but hidden by the crystal.

Btw, @cristos71 having owned and sold it is a VERY good sign.

Dial looks good to me, I didn't take it to pieces to inspect it.

I'm the ex owner, I sold it a year ago, why don't you ask the current owner your questions, he's got it in hand after all.

Very true, but you know it’s always better to look as far back as possible to check it’s provenance😉

And the promised update. Ladies and gentlemen: we’ve got it:

I pulled the trigger. Nice watch with a slight bump on the dial (dial pin got pushed?) but overall a nice condition😀
