Due to the dial and hands "restoration", I wouldn't really want to buy this watch.

Redial, over polished and wrong crown to start. All WWW watches were delivered in middle to end of 1945.

In attempting to fill in here the problems with the restored dial appear to include:

    1. The digits for the “12” are too close.
    2. The top of the Omega, “A” and 4
are not flat. (Angle of 4 may
    confound here.)
    3. There are multiple hooked numbers
    (Most I have ever seen)
The hooked 7 is “classic for
poor redials or fakes” attributed by
    some to the Subcontinent.
    4. The “Omega” logo appears
incorrect although this may be due
    to magnification issue.
    5. The Omega symbol appears
incorrect although this also may be
    a magnification issue.
    6. The hour and minute hands “appear
    period correct” but almost
    too perfect.
    7. Concur with other concerns above.

Attached is a comparison piece represented as original dial with MOD replaced hands.

    Good luck in the decision!

Okay, I thought I looked nice, but I don't have your expertise. Sorry to the OP for the bad advice.:whipped:

Thanks! I am looking for a CK2444, or a CK2400-7. I did notice the ad. Not sure about the condition.

Price is on the highside considering the condition, even to my amateur eyes.

I wonder if the nearing economic recession will bring more CK2444 or CK2400-7 specimens out to market?

It's all good. It's likely I could have missed the ad. Thanks for pointing it out.
