Hey guys, I need help with a watch, I am not very familiar with. Someone offered me a Omega Ck2129, one of the famous WEEMS aviation watches for British pilots. I just have these three poor shots, but I hope someone can see more than me I know that the bottom crown is missing and its difficult to get a replacement. But what about the dial (and probably the rest)? I have seen different Omega dials, but also the same. My guts tell me its redial. What do you think? Thanks for you help in advance, Nico
It's lovely, copasetic. Repro bezel locking crown and spring can be found. Let me know if you decide to pass.
You are absolutly right. Its allways unclever to do two things at the same time I edited it. The font looks so modern compared to some other examples. Are there two different dial variations known? And another Questions: I found mainly Longines Weems for sale, but no Omegas. Are they in the same price range, or different? Thanks so far, Nico
The pictures are really bad, can't the seller do some better ones? If you are going to pay the amount those go for, I would ask for better ones. I'm a big fan of the CK2129, and would be cool if there would be more around on OF.
Reproduction locking crowns are available (as already stated) ... but those photos are so poor that it's impossible to give any kind of reliable advice. You have to go back to the seller and get better.
Yes, the dial looks good, judging by what's given. But as has been said before, it's impossible to tell for sure without seeing better pics. I only know this black on white design (with slight differences).
Dial also looks good to me, although it's difficult to say on those blurry pictures… For comparaison :
dial looks correct to me. for the missing crown try ebay seller Latriaz from belgium . kind regards. achim
Still looks good... https://omegaforums.net/threads/my-first-watch-purchased-via-of-omega-weems-content.18061/
