Hello,

im about to purchase this watch but really unsure about the dial. Its "too good to be true" in my opinion, nevertheless, the seller states its 100% factory original (unrefurbished, unrepainted, untouched).
Thanks for your assistance.

Is it odd that the omega logo is the rounder shape for a watch of this vintage?

My only concern is the lack of patina, even the slightest expression of age is lacking here. Also the registers seem like the hands don't fit within them as perfectly as I'd like. If you're on the line, stay away. That's your guy instinct trying to protect you from the burn.... I think you nailed it "too good to be true". Maybe see what the return policy is and try to have it in hand or under a loupe. Return if unhappy with in-person assessment!

Best of luck, could be a true find if it's original & untainted for some strange reason,

Thomas

Agreed. The logo on the OP watch should look like this:

Not this:

I would pretend something distracted me and quietly walk away. I don't think even the hands are from Omega.

Wow looks awesome, too good to be true, the logo shape like others said I think is not wright… if is very cheap (I don’t think so) I would buy it anyway just because I like it….. 😗

Shouldn't the registers have concentric rings?
Different reference I know but the small hands overlap like this on my 2782 but are leaf Hands like the main hands
Might be authentic but not necessarily original
Pic for comparison of omega logo and hands
