Omega chronograph 33.3

Good afternoon, I found this watch. I would like to verify their authenticity and find out the approximate value in this condition. The watch is running, the chronograph is working, but due to a weak spring the second hand is not connected, if I move the wheels manually, then everything works and is reset. The glass has several small cracks around the perimeter.

Thank you!

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

I'm no expert on 33.3's but have a few observations.

To me the dial looks original, although obviously in very tired shape to the extent where I'm indecisive about what the original colours would have been. It could well have started as black, grey and orange.

The hands are a problem and all look wrong to me.

The movement looks to be cosmetically in very nice condition, clean screw heads, etc. I'm not technical so have nothing more to say there.

I also can't comment on the case, it seems to be period correct and I know Omega did make plated cases for the 33.3 but I don't recall seeing one like this before and the inner engravings are also a little clumsy looking.

As for value, for me TBH, this would be a parts watch ( due to dial condition and the hand issue ) and I'd value it based on the movement €1.5 - 2K and a few hundred for the dial.
