Yes, the Tissot CH27 based chronographs have both the Lemania serial and the Tissot serial. From 1942-1944, Tissot placed their serial on the inside caseback. By 1945, Tissot had switched over to a case reference system and placed their serial on the bridge as you show above.

The Lemania #396 shown above is also from 1942 according to the Tissot caseback serial.

I鈥檓 trying to get an accurate date
The serial numbers used on chronographs don't always line up with the published tables that map serial numbers to production dates. This may have been due to Lemania's production of chronographs within SSIH for Omega and Tissot.

The reference book Chronograph Wristwatches: To Stop Time suggests that, in general terms, the highest speed reading on the tachymeter scale is a means of dating a chronograph. Chronographs made in the twenties have scales that reach 300-360kph; in the thirties, scales reach 400, and by 1940 scales of 500 can be found. By 1950, top numbers were 750-800, in line with the increasing speeds of automobiles and aircraft. Your example seems to read 700, so the late 1940s is about right and is consistent with the dial and case style.

Hello! I鈥檓 trying to get an accurate date on my 27cal chrono.
The absence of shock absorber and the type of the minute counter spring dates the movement at most to 1944-45.
However, the picture is not properly focused. Should the balance wheel be cut, as it would seem, the movement can be dated to 1942-1943.

The movement pix and one showing the original brushing/sharp lug are prior to COA.

If the serial number, as it seems, is in the 13 million range, the watch would date to 1953.
