Hi OF

After some preliminary research I can’t identify this (70’s) Omega chronograph (solid gold). I would be very grateful if a kind and knowledgeable OF member could enlighten me please?

many thanks in advance…

This is ref 14590066. But, for some reason, there's not much information about it. Can you get the photo of the inner case back and movement serial number. The design suggests that this is more like a late 1960's design.

Been discussed before:

There's also some on sale atm, one sample on C24:

Thanks Risto, this is really helpful.

the watch I’ve seen is being sold by a London watch dealer and that is the only photo I have. Incidentally, it has had its original 861 movement replaced with the same movement. Apparently this was carried out in the 80’s. It does mean they have been unable to obtain an Extract of the Archives.

it’s a lovely watch but I’m minded to steer clear of purchasing it, mainly for that reason plus my main focus is on something else.
