Omega case, star stamped ?

    Hi, just bought a Omega caliber 266, and in the back cover is stamped a star.

    Anyone know what can it be?

    But a hidden stamped is only for watchmakers....

    Just an observation from the OP's watch and from the thread I posted above is that all the case backs with the stars also state Fab. Suisse

    I don`t know, but you can see this symbol in a lot of cases from the 60's.

    That's the makers mark for Ervin Piquerez S.A.
    It represents a simplified diver's helmet.
