If I wanted Omega to replace the whole case of a watch from circa 2012 is that possible? If so would the crystal, bezel and caseback be included in this job?

For reference the watch is an 8500 PO.

Thanks.

I’m sure they would, for a chunk of cash. But what is so bad about your case that you want it replaced?

It would probably cost way more money and time than selling it then buying another one in the condition you want.

Badly damaged exterior from an automobile accident.

If you send it in for a service, they will probably offer to repair or replace. Give it a try and report back. 👍

I would but it’s currently not with me. It’s mostly a very large dent on one of the lugs and a scratched crystal.

The watch functions normally it’s just the exterior that’s been damaged.

I doubt that Omega will repair or replace the case without a full service. And a 2012 watch is due for a service anyway. Respectfully, the way to get an accurate answer is by contacting the Swatch Service Center, or simply by sending it in and waiting for a service quote.

Good point. I want to get it serviced anyways. My only concern is whether or not they will be able to repair the dent. I will be contacting the service centre soon.

My point is by the time I have the crystal and the bezel replaced (which is not included in the service) am I not better off just replacing the whole case?

When they have inspected the watch in person, they will give you options and prices. We can only speculate, and without photos, our speculations are even more worthless than usual.
