2220.80 case replacement?

I have a full set 2220.80 Seamaster 300m. It is my grail watch. I bought it knowing it had been overpolished in its short life (2010 build year) the price was good on it. I have worn it for a while. The side where the helium escape valve is housed has been overpolished to an extent that the bezel wont align anymore with the case. See picture.

The watch is now in need of a service. I want to send it to Omega and request a quote for a case replacement. Is this possible and will they change over the serial? Is there any other fix to this ecxept selling the watch and buy an unmangled example?

Much appreciate your input. Regards.

Omega will certainly quote you a case replacement if you ask them to, and yes the serial number can be moved to the new case, but they will keep the old case.

I send the watch to Omega Switzerland today, Im wondering what the cost will be, I think they also combine it with a regular service. how quick are they with price indications over there? Day or weeks or months?
