Hopefully someone here will help with this Omega caliber 361 that I have. It looks to be in great condition for its age. The movement looks new. I think the crown is a replacement but not 100% sure. Any help would be appreciated. As stated it's a caliber 361. Case reference is 2547-2 . Not sure what the 5027 stands for. Also not sure who l&k were from. Watch dates from 1947. Is it classed as a dogleg watch or something else. Thanks to OF for the space.

Looking at the dial it seems to me to be opalescent. I would assume that if someone was going to repaint the dial there are many easier ways to do it than this. Thanks for your input.

The crown look like a replacement because the watch looks rose gold and the crown it's yellow.

Is the hour hand a different style from the minute hand?
The G is omega looks wrong.
The only lume on dial is the 12, I would think there should be more.
The indicators, I have not seen before

Agreed about the indicators. But why would someone change these. It would seem to be a major job when you could just leave the originals and repaint the dial. This is why I have asked for opinions. Thanks.

It likely had all Arabic lumed numerals, but was water damaged, So the dial was refinished and they stuck on indicators and only redid the 12 or worked around the 12.
In the pic the hour hand has a dauphine bottom end but the minute doesn't. Hard to see on my phone.

The 11.9m serial dates to nearer 1949-50 in my experience.

Deffo a redial. The Omega text isn't right and the Swiss Made text and subdial divisions are a little clumsy. The reason it is so clean for its age is that it isn't actually very old.

Dial on OPs watch has embossed figures and would have looked something like these. They were not added nor could they have been removed during refinishing which is why they are so "soft". The dial has been polished to death during the refinishing, note how the sub-dial has nearly been obliterated. "12" is simply a bad attempt a recreating the original mirror finish numerals, again see below for examples.
