1947 Omega Caliber 265 -- Gifted this watch -- What exactly do I have here?

Greetings -- A friend gifted this to me, and he can't recall the details of his purchase. So I'd appreciate a sense of what I have here -- the caliber is 265, the serial number dates to 1947. Does the dial look original or is it a redial? Everything here works as it should. What are ideas about its value?

Thanks!

You don’t often hear of people asking for valuations for a watch they were gifted.
Anyway, it has certainly been redialed and the case isn’t original. I’d say the value is around £200

Looks redialed to me as well. It was given to me a long while ago. I've enjoyed it but time to let it go. Thanks.

TBH, if @Davidt's valuation is correct, you might as well hang onto it ….. just saying..

The incongruity of the compilation of watch components is striking in a disturbing sort of way.
