I am selling my Omega 2639-2 of Swedish origin post Suverän, a fascinating pieces of watchmaking history.
- The Bullseye dial of this watch has been exceptionally preserved, the topicalization creating a unique spider web pattern, a rare phenomenon that develops over decades. This patina gives the watch a mysterious and captivating appearance, revealing a story that has developed over time.
- The indexes are very well preserved. their original cream color has become salmon. as they have not blackened, the dial is very readable.
- The hands are a Radium military version. They recall the history of the design of this watch. They took on this quite remarkable pumpkin color.
- The stainless steel case measures 35mm excluding crown and is in excellent unpolished condition.
- This watch is equipped with the Omega 265 (30T2) caliber, a mechanical movement renowned for its robustness and reliability. This movement is easy to maintain, because it was produced in large quantities until the 60s and 70s, which means that it will be faithful to you for many years.
In perfect working order with excellent time keeping and a completely normal power reserve.
