Hi,
I came across this bracelet online from a private seller. The reference is 1469/811. Because of its excellent condition I am concerned it is a fake but I don't know enough to be sure.
Does anyone have an opinion on it?
Sorry for the pictures, I couldn't do better.
Thanks,
Adrien

Looks fine to me from an authenticity standpoint but I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily excellent condition, they’ve just polished the hell out of it.

What are you going to use it for? It is smaller than the bracelets seen on the Pro and the end links are only 18mm. Prob ok for a reduced.

@padders I wanted to use it for my Mk40 as my original SS bracelet is not in a good shape.
Is the mk40 18 or 19mm between the lugs, from memory it is the latter, I would double check if I were you the end link width vs the Mk40 lug gap otherwise it wont fit great, if both are 18mm then you are all set.

@padders my speedy is 18mm lug width so it should fit, the price of the bracelet is quite fair so I will give it a try. Thanks for the info and advice.

That bracelet and end link is for a reduced. These are readily available in truly excellent condition for the mid $300's USD. The OP's example has had the outside links polished which is incorrect. They should be brushed, the inner segment is polished.

I know this is an old post, so I apologize. But where are you people seeing that the outside has been polished?

The outside (curved side) of the links are shiny while the inside (flat side) show the original brush marks that go across the bracelet.

Which photo are you referring to? My post is showing a brushed outer link segment with a polished inner segment. This is correct and un polished. The OP picture is highly polished across the segments. This is not correct but nice and shiny.

Looking at the underside of the bracelet, you can see it is a brushed and has a matte finish

Since the photos were taken in the same light, you’d expect to see a matte finish on the outer links but instead, everything looks polished.

Anyways, it's all a matter of price. For a hunnerd bucks I'd buy it and just spend a few hours masking off and brush finishing where in needs it.

Heck, I'd buy the Uncle Seiko flat link. I have one of those for it, too. Very nice.

I'm going to digress here, since I can.

This is a great watch, maligned because of the hybrid movement. I think mine was an early '90s watch. I sent it to Omega Miami, they sent it to Bienne where it was totally overhauled, $875 complete - repair, pushers, crown, crystal, hands. I've had it running and wearing for 5 days now and it's a few seconds fast. Took 3 months but I've heard of worse waits, I've had a few.

The watch is the perfect size for my wrist.

Here's a shot a few minutes ago. I've been wearing my watches on perlon and nylon bands this summer.

Never understood the issue. We have one exactly like yours from the late 90's and love it. Fits the wrist just right without looking pretentious, and had it serviced by Tempvs Fvgit in NYC for the same price we pay for any other chrono movement service.

I'll continue with my digress.

The lugs are 18mm and this Chronostop clasp rally band looks great on it.
