Fake or Real Vintage Buckle

Hi all,

I saw a seller on eBay who claims to have roughly 100 of these NOS. I’ve never seen “B Swiss”, only seen “Swiss B”. Any thoughts on if these are real or fake? I saw the master thread re: buckles and did not see this one (maybe that’s a clue). Thanks!

These are screenshots from the big Buckle thread which shows B SWISS on later model. Not sure about the omega logo. The fact that seller advertises he has 100 NOS is a bit of red flag however. What is asking price?

Thanks! Missed this one. Super cheap which is another red flag (sub $15). With that said, the person has 100% positive feedback across almost 2000 people.

If you like the look, and for $15 you don’t really care if it’s original that’s your choice of course. I have a couple like that and don’t worry about it. If it’s a special watch and you want to be sure it’s original then I would keep looking.

That’s a good point. Appreciate it.

It’s almost impossible to get negative feedback on eBay these days. Ratings of sellers and buyers have become useless. Almost as useless as C24.

That’s fair but if someone identified it as a fake, would assume there would be negative feedback. Maybe I’m wrong.

Sellers will hold buyers hostage to take a return. And once the return is complete the buyer can’t leave feedback. Trust me, eBay is in the business of disguising feedback.

Yep, absolutely this. Got sold a fake Montblanc from a guy with thousands of positive reviews and 100% feedback. I reported him to ebay that he sent a fake, all they did was say "well, he's offering a refund", so I took it and it wouldn't let me add feedback.

Selling counterfeit stuff on ebay is apparently trivial as long as it fools enough people that you don't lose money on refunds.
