I love this watch! It was a gift from my wife but we have no idea what it’s worth or what it is. Anyone have any thoughts?

I was told it has 17 jewels

It's a bit hard to say much that would be helpful based on those photos. If you could remove the back and post photos of the movement and inside of the case-back, we could probably give you more information.
