Hi, i got my 50th for Christmas and I have to say it looks better than in the pics. But there is one thing I absolutely don‘t like: Did you also recognize, that the chronograph second hand and the main minute hand are bent? My Hesalit-speedy from 2018 has flat hands and I like it much more. What do you think?
this issued was already noticed previously:

Your photo had just cleared up a little niggle i had but as yours is exactly the same i now know it's intentional... the chrono hand tip is curved down towards the end! I thought mine had been bent but zooming in on your photo shows what i see on mine. Apologies if that's sets off any ones OCD.

I like it. It’s something a little extra visual and follows the crystal and the step on the dial. No issue for me. But as with all these things it’s a matter of personal taste...

Thanks for the link, i read a lot in this thread, but I think I red over this till now. The curved thing is not that bad on the second hand but why they did it at the main minutes hand 🫨

Haven’t seen many other straps yet (or that many being worn). Anyone tried anything? I think the cork strap is a bit cheap and not quite big enough for me. I quite like this brown leather nato however. Brings out the gold.

I would quite like a speedy Tuesday strap on this. Am also think black might look good.

Hello everyone,

Hope you all had a great Christmas. First post from me. I got my 50th Anniversary Apollo 11 Speedy just before Christmas (number 6xxx). I love this watch, pictures don't it justice. I love the contrast the gold gives, it just pops with the ceramic bezel. Anyone else noticed the different lug design (or is the case shaped slightly differently) from the standard Moonwatch Professional? Pictured next to my Rising Sun:

Cracking duo! I hadn’t noticed but there would appear to be more curve on the lugs of the regular case. Interesting...

Hard to beat the new steel bracelet, imo. Not a fan of NATO's, esp on this watch. Too casual. But to each their own.

Went for an alcantara strap matching grey dial and a GGB velcro strap.

The new bracelet is nice to look at and wear, but a little flimsy.
1 on 1 request to have grey strap with stitching to match the gold bezel. He was very quick to come up with ideas, not cheap but worth it.

Oh that's nice.

The whole point of the A11 bracelet is to make it thin, like vintage bracelets, but with modern construction wth solid and screwed links. A thin bracelet will not be as bulky as a thicker one. I don't think of it as flimsy.

Yep, I liked it but think that sort of colour (or black) on a strap will be best.

that said, I think like you say the bracelet is hard to beat. They’ve got it just right

grey alcantara close ups.
That's one of the nicest straps I've seen on this watch.
